Executive Networking Conference focuses on unleashing innovation

North Carolina's top innovators and business leaders in health care, technology, construction and other industries convene this week (April 4-6) to focus on "unleashing the innovation engine" at the 2013 Executive Networking Conference at the Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst.

The annual event, hosted by NCIMED and Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council, will explore the theme, "Creating the Future: Leveraging Business Relationships and Unleashing the Innovation Engine."

Featured speakers include N.C. Gov. Pat McCrory, N.C. Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker and state and national business and academic leaders. Professional development workshops, seminars and panel discussions will cover the gamut of topics related to innovation, from identifying opportunities, marketing products and services and innovation opportunities in high-potential industries.

"North Carolina's greatest economic resource is its people," said NCIMED President Andrea Harris. "This year's theme underscores that fact. When we come together and share our experiences, great things can happen."

The Executive Networking Conference is the premier networking event for minority business executives and corporate decision-makers to form and cultivate relationships, learn about emerging trends, exaqmine critical issues and develop professional skills.
